My journey began on January 31, 1979, in Ontario Canada. I was the firstborn of Leslie and Willma White. Both of my parents love music and I inherited that love from them. In college (West Indies College) my father had sung with a quartet and my mother sang with the Meister Singers. As a child I heard a lot of music from groups like the Heritage Singers or the Kings Heralds in my house. Also my family has always been ministry minded so naturally I had many opportunities to exercise the gifts that the Lord has given me. At an early age I observed my parents singing together for the Lord. They founded The King is Coming Ministry on July 4, 1981. As I grew older I helped out by setting up sound equipment before concerts and tearing it down afterwards. At the age of eight I became the sound engineer and was responsible for hooking up the system, controlling the audio, and playing the soundtracks that my parents sang with.

When I was eleven I was upgraded to the role of singer and my younger sister took over the sound duties. Around this time I started writing songs and had my first real song (“Charity”) recorded on the album “Right Now is the Right Time” by The King is Coming Singers in 1992. A few years later I had the privilege of producing a couple of records for our ministry. On these records I produced and arranged vocals for three more of my original songs.

The King is Coming Singers toured across the United States doing approximately 120 concerts a year. It was a huge blessing to see the Lord working in our lives and providing for our needs. The lessons I learned in faith and trusting God are priceless and unforgettable. In 1996, The King is Coming Ministry became a stationary ministry as my father began pastoring in California. Today this ministry aspires to build a Biblical Research and Youth Development Center in the near future.

I truly believe in the power and ministry of music. The Lord has greatly blessed me by allowing me to be able to sing for him in many different places whether in a group or by myself. He has shown me how important it is that I share what he has given me. This is what I have always done and by God’s grace I will continue to serve as I walk this journey towards heaven.
